Video Producer — AI, Motion, & Virtual Production

Dallas, TX
Full Time
Experienced
I. Role Overview

We're building a production engine that punches above its weight. Today that means AI-generated avatar video, motion graphics, and on-the-ground event coverage. Tomorrow — within 18 months if the work earns it — that means an in-house virtual production setup that lets us shoot interviews and customer stories without a flight to a studio.

You'll be the one person who can run it all. Not because we want to overload one role, but because the modern video producer is fluent in AI, motion graphics, and live-action shooting in a way most people two years out of film school still aren't. You are that person — or you're close enough to it that we can build the rest together.

If you've read about how Salesforce went from a 35-person video team to a 5-person one using virtual production, you know the direction. We're building toward our own version of that, scaled for a Salesforce and Snowflake partner navigating a growing AI ecosystem — one that needs to ship 60–90 second LinkedIn videos every week and customer story features every month.

II. Primary Responsibilities
  • Run the AI video stack day one. Tools like HeyGen for AI avatars, ElevenLabs for voice, Descript for editing, Veo for B-roll. Target output: 8–12 finished videos per month after the first 60 days for standard project highlights and templated formats — with roughly 2 hours of production time per video at steady state on that tier of work. Bigger customer story features, event recap edits, and hero brand pieces take longer, and they get the days-to-weeks they need to land right. We’ll get you help if you need it.
  • Motion graphics and After Effects work. Product explainers, animated infographics, data visualizations that move. Brand-consistent templates so we can produce a new explainer in an afternoon, not a week.
  • Live event shooting. Events such as Dreamforce, Snowflake Summit, Shoptalk, and customer-site visits are worth getting on a plane for. You'll handle the camera, audio, and lighting yourself, then edit on the way home.
  • Build the production playbook. Templates in Premiere and After Effects, brand-consistent intro/outro, music libraries we have rights to, a checklist for field shooting, and an asset library of B-roll. The goal is for any one of us to be able to ship a basic video without needing you in the room — and for the videos that do need you to take a fraction of the time they currently do.
  • Grow toward virtual production. As output volume justifies it (probably 12–18 months in), you'll lead the build-out of an in-house virtual production setup — initial spec, vendor evaluation, integration with our existing workflow. This is the longer game; on day one, you'll be in HeyGen and After Effects, not on an LED wall. But the trajectory matters.
III. Ideal Qualifications
  • You experiment with new formats and tools. New AI production stacks, new cut styles, new distribution formats — you try them, ship them, and can point to what worked, what didn't, and what changed. This isn't a side hustle for you; it's how you make a company's work more memorable and how you help sellers close business.
  • 4–7 years producing video for B2B brands, B2C brands, or agency work that included tech accounts. You've shipped enough to know what looks polished and what looks rushed.
  • Premiere Pro and After Effects fluency are table stakes. Da Vinci Resolve or Final Cut as a primary tool is fine; we'll provide the Adobe stack.
  • You've shipped AI-generated video work — either avatar-led video that people watched without realizing it was AI, or they knew was AI and didn't care because the content was good. Bonus if you've trained a custom avatar.
  • You can shoot field content yourself with a mirrorless or DSLR, capture clean audio, and rig basic lighting in a hotel room or office setting.
  • Strong AI-tool fluency in production: ElevenLabs voice cloning, Veo for B-roll, Runway for narrative cuts. You pick up and drop tools as they improve, without religious attachment to any one stack.
  • You read a script and can already see the cuts, the music, and the transitions. Storytelling instinct, not just technical execution.
  • Comfortable working async with a writer and a designer feeding you briefs. You'll know when to push back on a script because it won't shoot well.
IV. Bonus points
  • Virtual Production experience — Unreal Engine for backgrounds, LED wall work, Mo-Sys or similar camera tracking, even success with Gemini Flash or Envato generation.
  • Worked at a B2B SaaS or services company on their in-house content team
  • Shipped product launch videos that drove measurable signups or pipeline
  • Shot executive testimonial content where the executive looked good on camera
  • Animation or motion-design portfolio beyond standard After Effects work

You'll report to the VP of CX & Marketing, joining our growing marketing team. Day-to-day, you'll work with our writer for scripts, our global designers for graphics and brand assets, and our practice leads for technical accuracy on customer stories.

Tools we'll provide: full Adobe Creative Cloud, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Descript, Google AI Pro for Veo B-roll, and any field gear you need (we'll talk about camera body and audio kit during the interview).

We're remote-first. Travel a few times a year for major events and 1–2 customer-site shoots per year. We care that the videos ship, look A360-quality, and earn engagement.

IV. Application Requirements
  • A short note in your voice about a piece of video work you're proud of and what you learned shipping it
  • Your reel or three video samples — at least one AI-generated and one motion-graphics piece if possible
  • A 2-minute Loom or short write-up describing your current production workflow, including which AI tools you use weekly and how
  • Your LinkedIn profile URL and any portfolio site
