Role Overview
The A360 Sales Solution Architect will play an integral leadership role in supporting our pre-sales process with exceptional focus on designing and implementing scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions tailored to the unique needs of the Financial Services industry, with a focus on Insurance, Banking & Lending & Wealth and Asset Management.

About You
You are the Salesforce FSC subject matter expert, able to get buy-in from prospects with your industry and product experience helping to paint the picture of art of the possible and put together accurate estimates in the pre-sales process. You work collaboratively with the Delivery organization to make sure projects are scoped correctly, bringing in other technical talent across the full product suite as needed to support the sales process. You will be responsible for estimates & quotes, contributing to proposals, supporting new business pursuits, complex solutioning, and knowledge management. You have a comprehensive understanding of the cloud-computing ecosystem & specialize in FSC & FINs solutions and platforms. You are a leader by nature and a great communicator with the ability to derive requirements, articulate solutions and design concepts to internal team members & customers alike.
Primary Responsibilities
Presales support
- Supports our sales team to drive business development with the proper subject matter expertise and provide detailed estimates by roles, workstreams and timeline/sprints. 75% of this role's time will be allocated to Pre-Sales and Sales Support.
- Assist Salesforce and sellers to demo products and solutions to prospect and clients
- Contribute to roadmap development for prospect and clients alike, looking ahead at FSC capabilities, providing recommendations for best practice that align to strategic planning efforts of our clients
- Clearly articulate business architecture (mission/vision, capability models, capability assessments) and technical architecture (current and future state diagrams, solution standard processes, reference architectures, design patterns) as needed during pre-sales
Technical acumen and thought leadership
- Demonstrate technical thought leadership internally and externally
- Serve as an active contributor to the overall knowledge-base and expertise of the A360 technology and consulting community
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal business partners
- Continuously define & articulate best practices, standard processes, solutions and concepts to our internal team members to ensure success across all A360 projects
- Ability to be a great leader & teammate by motivating people and ensure accountability and successful results
- Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies by pursuing certifications, attending industry events, and participating in professional development programs.
Project Delivery Support
- 25% of time will be dedicated to Delivery billable work
- Understands the technical depth of the project and validates the correct resources for the project are assigned
- Supports the solution aspect of salesforce.com implementations specific to: design, solution architecture, functional implementation and evaluation of solutions in the Salesforce Ecosystem
- Participates as needed in the solution design workshops during the discovery and design phases
- Support initial technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
- Work closely with our project team, helping them understand the proposed scope and technology solutions to meet customer objectives
- Support team with questions regarding technical scope and client expectations
- Recommends alternate approaches, analyze impacts, and provide sizing estimates
- Articulates the value of recommended solutions and approach to custome
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years FINs industry expertise focused on digital transformation initiatives
- 5+ years designing solutions and/or developing custom Salesforce applications
- 3+ years experience in technology consulting environments as a client facing solution architect
- FSC Certification is required
- Expert level understanding of FSC including Banking, Insurance & Omni data models and functionality
- Experience leading technical requirements gathering & solution design sessions with clients
- Exceptional communication skills (English required) both internally and externally with our clients at both the product and executive level
- Familiarity and first-hand experience with Salesforce compatible third party solutions that support insurance operations, including marketing, onboarding, underwriting, policy and claims management
- Superior Salesforce development and design skills including: Apex, Lightning, SOQL, Process Builder and other standard and advanced Salesforce automation tools
- Experience deploying web-based and enterprise systems using industry standard environments including REST, APIs, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and Postman
- Understands and able to complete system testing & deployment processes
- Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
- Travel up to 25%
